Foster Questionnaire
Fostering dogs is crucial for rescue organizations because it provides a temporary, loving home for dogs in need, helping them adjust to a home environment, receive necessary medical care, and increase their chances of being adopted. Fosters also free up space in shelters, allowing more dogs to be rescued and given a second chance at finding a forever home.
Upshot Dog rescue is actively looking for foster homes in Puerto Rico and on the Mainland. We traditionally fly dogs to the Chicago and NY/NJ area but are open to fosters in other locations as well.
Foster families provide a safe, loving environment for dogs until they are adopted. They are responsible for daily care, including feeding, exercise, and socialization. Upshot Dog rescue will cover all the medical expenses and will provide any necessary gear, equipment and medication for their dogs.
